Mock Circulatory Loop Benchtop Tester
A benchtop mock circulatory loop concept for testing flow, pressure, sensor response, and component behavior in a controlled fluid circuit. The system includes a pump, compliant tubing, reservoirs, valves, pressure sensors, flow sensing, and data acquisition hardware arranged for iterative prototype testing.
Thermal Tube End-Forming Fixture
Benchtop fixture for repeatable forming of small-diameter polymer tubing. The system used a cartridge-heated aluminum die block, precision mandrel tooling, and a pneumatically actuated shuttle to advance tubing into the forming profile for a controlled dwell cycle. Temperature was managed through a solid-state relay and controller, enabling consistent tube-end geometry across microbore tubing configurations.
UHV Kinematic Mirror Mount
Ultra-high vacuum compatible kinematic mirror mounting system developed for synchrotron beamline applications. The assembly uses three independently actuated stepper-driven adjusters to control mirror pitch, roll, and yaw with high precision while maintaining mechanical stiffness and vacuum compatibility. The design incorporated flexure-constrained motion, precision bearing interfaces, and thermally stable structural components for accurate optical alignment within a UHV environment.
